Question 20. How much money did your parents spend on your program tuition fees? Could they afford your tuition fees, or did this put them in debt?

"Per my mothers request, she does not want me to disclose how much they spent. (And remember, she is Luke Hallows aunt) But i can say my dad had to keep working and could not retire when he was supposed too. He is still working to this day." - J.C., Casa by the Sea

"I really don’t know how much they paid exactly what I do know is they pulled out one loan for my first year, then when I got dropped and had to stay another year they had to pull out a second loan that they are still paying today, 8 years later." - A.E., Casa by the Sea

"They used my college fund in its entirety, around $80,000 dollars." - L.W., Cross Creek Manor

"My parents spent about $33,000 and it wasn't their money - It was my grandfather's trust that he set up for me. It cost me almost a year of my life and $33.000." - Anon, Casa by the Sea

"I don't know the amount, but as they put it "it was a small fortune"." - B.B., Ivy Ridge & Tranquility Bay

"My parents spent my college fund on the program." - C.M., Tranquility Bay

"Amount unknown, but they did not go in to debt." - Anon, Casa by the Sea

"I don’t know I do know that she took out a loan and it took her awhile to pay it off. I felt really bad I never did tell her that the place was shut down for child abuse." - C.L., Casa by the Sea

"I don’t know exactly how much money they spent, but I do know that this caused them a financial hardship." - J.K., Casa by the Sea

"I will have to figure out an exact amount but its something in the price of $80,000 or $90,000. My parents were and still till this day having a hard time paying for the program.... 7 years after my graduating. They are still in debt due to this." - N.R., Casa by the Sea & Midwest Academy

"My mother could afford the tuition fees, and they were about $2,400USD a month." - A.T., Casa by the Sea

"My dad was able to afford my tuition fees no problem. I think it was $2,500 a month. So for 18 months, he spent $45,000 dollars total." - G.A., Casa by the Sea

"I'm not exactly sure how much they paid. I'm sure they were in debt. I think it was anywhere between $2,000 - $4,500 a month. For the 4 months I was there I'm sure they spent at the least $12,000." - C.A., Casa by the Sea
